Can you believe it is almost Valentine's Day? When I was younger, the time between Winter Break and President's Day seemed like an eternity, especially since I lived on a farm in South Dakota and often got snowed in to my house in January. The month dragged on forever!

As an adult, though, the time seems to go much quicker. 6 weeks has gone by since we made our goals for 2011, which makes it a great time to evaluate how our progress on the goals that involve the ones we LOVE.

If you find yourself feeling like you haven't made any progress on these goals, don't worry. You still have time to make the change you want. Love, is a verb, an action, something we have to DO, so start taking action today. Instead of relying on roses for Valentine's Day, do something that can rekindle a dimming flame, like recreating one of your first dates with your wife, or signing up for the cooking lessons your husband has been wanting to take together.

The year is only 10% over. You still have lots of time to create the change in your life and home that you want, but don't let another 6 weeks go by before you take action. Start now, and see how much of a change can happen in just a few weeks!

This past month has brought some very exciting developments for us. First, we were nominated for the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce's IMPACT Award. This award honors the accomplishments of small businesses and the impact they’ve made on the greater Phoenix business community. We are so excited to have been recognized through the nomination and will keep you updated with the results!

Upcoming segments include: How to treat household stains, Meal planning for more family dinners, and Tips for to cut your morning routine in half.
