OMG (Original Moxie Girl)

Moxie Girl’s founder, Amanda Thomas, was born and raised a farm girl with a strong, moral upbringing and passionate work ethic. She has two older sisters and is proud to say her parents are still married after more than forty-five years.

For many years, Amanda worked with professional families as a nanny and in the fitness industry. During this time, she started to notice that couples were arguing a lot about household chores. Instead of focusing on common dreams and goals, their marriages were full of finger pointing and blame.

Amanda listened, took mental notes, and saw ways to help.  She imagined offering an extra hand with all the little things around the house. With this help couples and families could focus their time and energy into achieving goals.

And Moxie Girl was born

Moxie Girl was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 2007 on the idea that your home should be your haven. At the end of a long day or a hectic week, we should all be able to relax, unwind, and recharge.
Moxie Girl brings together the services of a house cleaner or home organizer, with the benefits of a personal assistant to help our clients do just that. While each family we help is unique, we always agree that the best part is completing the project and literally watching the stress go out the door with us when we leave.
