Household Assistants is what we call it because while maid service and house cleaning may be our bread and butter we also work with families as professional organizers, pet sitting, house sitters, and party hosts. We believe many tasks in the home can be completed by the same person saving you time and money while providing more peace of mind.
What truly is the difference between Maid Service and House Cleaning? While they are similar they are still a little different. Maid service usually includes house cleaning but house cleaning doesn't necessarily include maid service. Moxie Girl maid service may include:
- General house cleaning (see an example of our house cleaning checklist)
- Restock home supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
- Gather and transport laundry to laundry room
- Wash, fold, and put away clothes, linens and towels
- Iron clothes
- Wash dishes (dishwasher and hand washing as needed)
- Run errands (i.e. dry cleaning, grocery shopping, etc.)
- And other various household tasks as needed

Because each home is so unique for this service Moxie Girl begins each relationship with a free in-home consultation. This allows us to see and hear from you what is going on in your world and the specific wants and needs for your space and give recommendations for services that may better suit you.
House Cleaning
Just looking for someone to complete your house cleaning and keep your house tidy? Moxie Girl can help. Our team get to know you, not to waste your time, but to tailor your service and better understand what you need.
Moxie Girl uses green products with the Melaleuca brand but we aren't snobs about it. Green cleaning is important to us but providing a quality service is as well. Our experience has shown that some cleaners are either not available in a green version or the green version does not meet our quality standards. In such cases we use a few non-green products for specific tasks. We are more than happy to use green products only or use your products upon request. See the products in our cleaning kits for more details.
Our client's supplies
Our clients are more than welcome to supply their own cleaning products and supplies if they wish. We will use whatever our clients supply assuming they are not harmful to our team (i.e. large quantities of bleach, ammonia, or other strong chemicals).
However, to minimize the potential of transporting unsanitary items from home to home (i.e. hair, fleas, urine, vomit, etc.) we do ask that our clients have some of their own supplies including:
- Vacuum cleaner
- Mop (or other hard floor tool)
- Toilet brushes

Professional Organizer
Do you spend your mornings running around like a chicken with its head cut off because you can’t find your white cardigan, the kids don’t know where they put their homework, and the car keys got lost in that pile of junk in the laundry room? Pet Sitting Phoenix
While you are out of town, you want to know that your pets are getting all the love and attention they need. From dogs and cats to horses and donkeys, we have cared for most non-poisonous pets. Moxie Girl offers day-time and overnight visits to fit your pet’s schedules and comfort levels.

During our pet sitting visits, we can:
- Change food and water
- Walk, play, or snuggle, depending on what your pet needs that day
- Check the home for leaks or damage, if requested
- Water plants, if requested
- Send text updates to you (one per day)
- Ask us for any other things you may need
Pet Sitting pricing:
- Day-time visits - $35 per visit (up to 1 hour of love)
- Overnight visits - $65 per stay (typically 8pm-6am)
- 10% discount available for 4+ day services (consecutive days only)
House Sitters and Vacation Rental Cleaning
Whether you are an out-of-state homeowner who needs a Phoenix home sitter or a vacation rental home cleaning to satisfy your homeowner’s insurance requirements or your own peace of mind. Moxie Girl has house sitter and vacation rental cleaning packages for you.
House Sitting and Vacation Rental Cleaning
Nothing is worse than arriving back home to find your house has suffered a flood, break-in, or dried up P-Trap (aka bad sewer smell). Moxie Girl can help prevent damage from happening to your home while you are away with our house sitting and vacation rental check packages. As an added bonus it just so happens that we do house cleaning and maid service as well so go ahead, "kill two birds with one stone."
Each vacation rental check visit consists of a thorough walk-thru of your home’s interior and exterior:
- Check for damage (break-ins, vandalism, storm damage, etc.)
- Inspect for leaks (inside/outside)
- Run water through drains
- Verify other service providers (landscaping, pool service, etc)
- Remove papers/fliers from the front of the house
- Check and send mail
- And any other special requests you may have.
